As for the writing thing... Once upon a time, in a fandom long ago, I gave up writing, because people were giving me a really hard time, and I felt lost, then a new fandom came along & I realized that writing is the best thing I have in my life(besides my family & friends) & that without it, I'm just sort of a shell of myself. My writing defines part of who I am, and if your writing means that much to you, then don't you dare give it up. If it's a hobby you don't really care about or feel invested in, then you do what you feel is best, but maybe you're just hanging around teh wrong places right now, because there are still thousands of people lurking on LJ reading Glee fic like it's their lifeline. Just because people don't comment doesn't mean they aren't reading, trust me. No one knows that better than me. If you want to talk more about this, PM me. I'm always open about my writing, feelings on fandom, etc. *hugs*

As for your writing, I'm one hell of lurker when it comes to LJ, so I never really comment, but I know there was a day when I went through all your Kurt/Sam stories, read them, and loved them; I may have even put one in my memories. Just know that there are lots of other lurkers like me out there, and that the people giving you grief apparently have no idea what good writing and good fic looks like when they see it.

this was so sweet and i love drops of jupiter, so that made the fic even better.=) i've read a lot of your work and i just want you to know that although i don't comment much on fics( i know, bad habit), your writing is amazing and i sincerely hope you don't give up on it.because i for one, can't help but smile everytime i see i new kurt/sam fic posted =)
