Well, that was unpleasant. I recently bought some Palmolive Pure+Clear dish detergent, which was on sale. It was labeled "no heavy fragrances" and did not list a scent (unlike every other dish detergent on the market), so naturally I assumed that it was fragrance-free/unscented ( Read more... )

We're glad you didn't go into acute respiratory distress.

Mom usually gets Palmolive dish soap -- but only the "original" because it doesn't seem to have any scent. Did you notice it when you were here?

No, I didn't notice. So it must have been fine.

I usually buy Ajax--lemon or orange--because it's usually the cheapest name brand. This time, Palmolive was on sale and the larger size Ajax was out of stock, so I went with what I *thought* would be unscented.
