Summary: It’s Eunhyuk’s birthday and every member has rejected his offer of spending time together
Eunhyuk sat on his bed, staring at nothing as thoughts whirled around in his head.
In the last few months, whenever he tried to talk or hang out with one of the members, they always rejected him. He was amazed at all the different kinds of excuses they came up with. Some of them were so ridiculous especially from the members that couldn’t really lie to save their lives.
He also couldn’t believe Donghae, the member he was closest to and had a special relationship with, was lying to him, day after day. He’d barely been able to spend any time with him since he got back from China some weeks ago.
At first, he thought they might be planning some kind of surprise party for him since his birthday was coming up. But he asked Eeteuk and Sungmin if that’s what they were doing and both said no. He also went to Donghae for confirmation (not that he didn’t trust his leader and other close friend but sometimes they were very very good at lying to him or evading the truth) and he denied it as well.
Eunhyuk sighed as he stared at the ceiling. It was his birthday and he had nothing to do. None of the members were around. It seemed like they had all forgotten or something which wasn’t possible at all. Eeteuk never forgot one of his “babies” birthday.
“Another rejection by the members…”
“What do you mean another rejection by us?”
Eunhyuk sat up and looked at the open doorway to see all the members standing there, smiles on their faces. Eeteuk held a lit cake in his hand.
“Happy Birthday, Hyukjae!”
Eunhyuk smiled as he blew out the candle. He couldn’t help the tears filling his eyes.
“Hyukkie? Why are you crying? Was it something we did? I can tell you we were -“
Eunhyuk held up a hand to stop Donghae’s rant and shook his head. He was just so happy knowing his members hadn’t rejected him. He didn’t care what they had been doing. Just the fact that they were here now, celebrating his birthday with him, that was all the mattered.
A/N: sorry that was such a fail ending. I wrote this somewhat quickly when I realized it was Eunhyuk’s birthday. Completely forgot, if it wasn’t for the fact that I’ve been watching the comm and seeing people post stories for Hyukkie’s birthday, I totally would’ve forgotten… I’ve been so busy with school so haven’t had much time to write…but don’t worry I will be posting some works soon…
