Something strange happened at school today. And I'm not talking about Julien ducking out on being the vocals for our band number. Okay, I know this is beside the point, but it was really cool. We went with our back-up plan and did this song called "Ballroom Blitz". It's still so amazing that I can actually play an instrument

Yeah. You aren't the only one looking for shards, you know... I'm one too. On the upside? At least I now know that the Lucen in my World Geography class's hunting alongside me.

Yeah. My second night here, I snuck out after I was supposed to be in bed to look around. I saw someone fighting some kind of shadow-creature near a place my phone said had a shard. Couldn't make out who it was though.

So how many people are looking for these things?

Also, I think I missed your name. I kind of phased out in class earlier.

Noise? Oh, you mean the music, right? It's the first time I've played in a group like that. I thought it came out fairly well -especially considering the reception we got.

And yeah. It looks like this life I have now belonged to a boy named Lucen. Did you know him?

Ah . . . it . . . didn't sound very much like music to me. ^^;;; But I also come from a really different place than this. We don't have anything that sounds like that. A lot of people seemed like they were enjoying it, though, so you must have been good!

I think I've seen him a little bit. I think he's in my history class. (Mou, my grade was really bad in there last year, and I've always done really well with history . . . Just . . . I don't know any of the stories here. ^^;;)

Well, maybe there's something we can play that you'd like too. It's weird- I never learned to play before. But when I picked up that guitar, everything just felt natural; how to hold it, tune it and then plucking those strings. It makes me wish I'd picked something like that up sooner.

Uh, history? Yeah, I've been having some trouble with that too since I got here. Maybe we should study together.
