I may have been a bit ambitious about sending out conference proposals over the last few months.  It seemed like a good idea at the time.  But, just to keep it all straight (for myself, at least), my itinerary for 2010 as of today:

1. San Diego, California (January 6-10): American Historical Association conference.  I am not actually presenting a paper

You won't need to present a paper at your brother's wedding, but you won't get away without a few words....
