Part of me feels a little odd about this resurrection, but I'm mostly amused and excited that the band Information (my second musical group experience) has been invited to reform/perform at a gig celebrating the imminent release of Byron Coley and Thurston Moore's book No Wave: Post-Punk. It is the Knitting Factory, which means any EASY way to make some extra bucks for the owners would be considered. But I don't think they have developed a way to get $25 out of you for watching Lydia play for 13 minutes, so I guess not. I have a feeling this will be well attended but I doubt that would be the case outside of NYC, so a visit to your neck of the woods is extremely unlikely.

It would be TOTALLY well-attended in SF, but I understand that a tour is unlikely. : (
