If the measure of a man is the love of his friends, then you certainly are a son to be proud of! The fact that you are one of the best guys I know and still wish you were a little better says volumes. I'm sure your dad knew how much you loved him and understood when daily life kept you from being there as much as you'd like. **pagerhugs**

I loved this, and it saddens me to know one day I will be making a similar post. It makes me think if the living here in the US is worth being so far away from home.

Thanks for you words and Hugs. It brightens my heart that you were touched by them. In some way my Dad's spirit is living on, his life's wealth of knowledge and lessons being passed on, and his way of 'paying it forward' - before that was even a term and something everyone just did.
