This makes me feel a little better about my Christmas gifts for those two... although, I will be extracting promises from Josh that he's not allowed to steal the stuff from them.

But *I* can steal the stuff from them, yeah? Awesome. =)

I'll talk to you after my current gig is up, I'm sure I have more stuff he'd like to take apart than you'd be willing to allow into your home.

Oh, and if you were serious in your comment on my post, I'd love to host a semi-frequent Nerd Scout Patrol workshop. I'd probably learn more than they did.

Nerd Scout Patrol workshop sounds like the coolest thing I never got to be a part of as a kid. SIGN US UP. Should I procure goggles and hazmat suits ahead of time?

And yes, would love to provide a loving home for all of your stuff that needs dismantled.

Is a broken TV too big or dangerous? I have a 27" with a broken tube that he's more than welcome to.

It's not so much the size as the contents on something like a TV... the capacitor at the back of the tube tends to maintain a decent charge for a long time and is capable of sending a full sized adult flying across the room if you accidentally discharge it into yourself. So, for kids, probably not such a good idea.

I figured something like that... so, no TV for them! My broken TV!

Thanks for thinking of us, though!! If anything else breaks, you know who to call. (Hey, and maybe, if you are really lucky, Khai will figure out how to actually FIX things, and could give it back in working order!)

LOL, this reminds me of my disassembly adventures as a yute, and my reassembly misadventures for that matter.

I'm imagining Frankenstein-ish kitchen appliances. And they are awesome.
