Sims 3 meets BSG (and Firefly)

I seriously just played The Sims 3 for about... 6 hours. X.x Good job, me.

I need to get back to writing but I'm just... stuck. I have ideas... but I'm still just stuck. And I'm sad. I'd like to be writing fic but I just... can't right now. It's awful.

I don't know why but this entertained me to no end.

It's because were there ever a burglary at the Adama's, Kara would totally be kicking the burglar's ass while Lee called 911. :'D

I think the exact same thing would happen if Gaius and Caprica were burgled. Caprica would be kicking the guy's ass, while Gaius would be all "CALLING THE POLICE, BRB."

And poor Bill indeed! I am absolutely tickled silly that he and Roslin are reading buddies, though. Omg.

I don't remember but one of the things I loved about The Sims 3 is picking personality traits... I'm pretty sure I gave Gaius both neurotic and insane as two of them.

I knoooow. I think it's because I gave both of them "bookworm" under personality. It's really adorable. Every once in a while they'll just be out... somewhere in the neighborhood and I'll go looking for them and find one of them like...sitting in the park reading.

Um, I want Helo to come cook me dinner. YES, that would be good. And then he can hold Trevor with his shirt off, because hot, muscular guys holding adorable giggling curly haired babies= INSANE HOTNESS.

Seriously. I don't care if he burns the whole thing- Helo cooking dinner is HOT.

Tigh and Liam are adorable, too.

All kinds of awesome. But you're making me jealous - I had to spend the money I would have used on Sims 3 to buy my textbook. (ONE SINGLE TEXTBOOK cost ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS! Oh, Gods, the extortion... Whatever happened to selling first borns? Because I'm more than willing to say 'sure, I'll give you my first born' to all sorts of things. :P)

Just remember their names. That way you don't actually have to give up the first born.

Given that I have no intention of having kids EVER, there's really no problem - I'd tell a million groups 'sure thing, no problem, first born, you get it.'

Actually, that kind of loophole dodging might be the reason they got rid of the whole thing in the first place...

Well, I am endlessly fascinated by this post. I've never played w/ Sims but these screencaps plus your comments have me intrigued.
And the Sammy burglar/KaraAssKicking/AdamaAssHanding/LeeEmergencyDialing? BRB LOLZING...
