Sims 3 meets BSG (and Firefly)

I seriously just played The Sims 3 for about... 6 hours. X.x Good job, me.

I need to get back to writing but I'm just... stuck. I have ideas... but I'm still just stuck. And I'm sad. I'd like to be writing fic but I just... can't right now. It's awful.

So what do I do? I set up a bunch of OotB related sims. I loved messing around with the clothes,

I've never played with Sims but this is absolutely amazing... My favorite parts: Adama and Rosling reading O_O, and Kara-in-her-undies kicking Sammy-the-burglar's ass while Lee called the police... Hilarious and SO in character!!!! (writers should use sims for inspiration for their stories...). I am truly fascinated...

Sorry to hear about your writer's block... Take it easy and try not to be too anxious about that (this sims thing seems a good therapy/distraction). Btw, being as I am a BSG and Firefly fan, I'm wondering why I haven't started reading OotB yet... I have no excuse! (I'll put a remedy to that, promise!!! :)).

And yes, these sims are my babies. :) I'm so happy with them, I gotta get their lives going at some point though. It took me all day just to set them up.

Sorry I'm so late to the party, but I wanted to say that it was so fun to read about your sims and to see those screencaps! I've never been much into computer games, but I find it fascinating that you set up their personality traits and stuff and then just let them do their thing and...they're actually acting like the characters we know and love (Kara would absolutely beat someone down in her underwear if she needed to, hee)! Awesome. I join the others in hoping you keep us updated on the sims!

Certain things I've done are things I controlled. For some reason the video capture isn't working but I had a fantastic discovery that because I gave Gaius the trait insane, if I click on him I can make him talk to himself. I also had beautiful footage of Helo teaching Hera to walk.
