Who's Sylar's warden - and why the hell's he talking about murdering people?

Me. It's a little more complicated than he's making it sound. We have a - deal. [MAN IS HE GOING TO HATE THIS.]

He's got an addiction. He wants other peoples' powers, and he thinks he has to kill in order to get them. So we made a deal. His...victims have to be willing. Otherwise, it doesn't happen. I can't punish him if the people he's killed gave him the go ahead, that isn't right.

What the hell...? Dude, that's crazy! You don't feed an addiction like that!

Cutting it off won't do any good, either. He doesn't understand how to deal with it yet, and I'm not about to hurt him more by taking his abilities away when he thinks he needs them.

Do I let Baby kill passengers who ask for it? No, I do not. If he gets his kicks out of murder, then your job's to teach him how to deal with not doing it.

This stops. Now.

Fucking seconded.

I fucking know addiction, and you don't play games with it. You just fucking don't. It's all or fucking nothing, you know.

Look, he isn't your inmate. Cutting him off is the last thing he needs.

No, he ain't, but I can tell you this. If, at any point, Uhura fucking thought she could let me have the shit I'm addicted to under controlled situations - which is basically the stunt you're pulling - I'd have fucking hoped the rest of you guys would have stood up and said 'what the fucking hell are you doing?' So I'm just doing it this way.

And everyone would have, because that's the kind of addiction that needs to be handled that way. This is different. It isn't drugs. It's a completely different situation.

Yeah, it's different. People are fucking getting killed - even if it's fucking consensual, there's enough suicidal people around here that it's still taking advantage.

And how the fuck are the rest of us supposed to stop our guys from, say, going and killing people if you're sitting there letting him do that. Do you fucking know how that looks to the rest of the fucking inmates? Oh, he can get away with murder, which is what it is at worst, or even fucking assisted suicide, which is the best way you can wrap this up.

Are you seriously trying to put that on me? You stop them by doing your job, the way you have to with your inmate. I'll do my job with my inmate. If you want me to go make an announcement on the off chance it'll make your life easier - it won't, by the way, it'd probably make things worse - then I will, but you're trying to judge without knowing the details. The best way to wrap this up is to trust me to do what's right by my inmate, so I can trust you to do what's right by yours.

And I'm pointing out how that looks to all the other fucking inmates. It undermines anyone's attempt to tell anyone else that killing people is fucking wrong, when you're letting him do it provided he's got fucking permission.

Then explain it to your inmate. When we have people dying here every other day, people who are actually murdered and with nothing being done about it, I don't think anyone's got room to tell me that it's wrong to try something different with an inmate who's been failed by warden after warden. If you think one instance of one inmate bragging about kills he had permission to do is going to stir up the inmates, then maybe you need to pay more attention to yours.
