A Once in a Lifetime Experience

So, I probably shouldn't be sharing this, but today I had my first ever Sigmoidoscopy.  It's basically like a Colonoscopy, but they don't go in as far in order to avoid using any anesthesia.  In order to prep, I hadn't be able to eat anything except water, water ice, popsicles, and jello since 6pm yesterday.  That really wasn't bad, since my mom

Oh god. You poor thing... that whole experience sounds like one of those you constantly keep your fingers crossed NEVER has to happen again. You made it through like a damn trooper though; It's extremely admirable. ♥

And good lord that self enema shebang you have to go through. Someone close to me recently had to go through the same thing (for a colonoscopy though), and I was just like "I can't even FATHOM doing that myself".

I hope your results come back okay and that you're feeling better now though.
