i was sleeping and kept hearing parts of my symphony in my head. that's always a good sign. for me, it means i truly love my piece and that i did a good job on it

i'm glad you feel special. as to the avant garde moniker, well that depends on how you define avant garde. to the folks that are the keepers of avant garde orthodoxy, artists like me are radical conservative reactionaries. to others, all that "experimental" type stuff is old hat and boring. who knows? that's for historians and journalists to decide. my job is just to write music and be a big old fag.
