What weather!

I just have to say that I've never seen weather like this in Ma in all my 55 years. It's well into July, and since spring temps have been mostly in the 60's, and even the 50's. And endless overcast skies. Even that one June when it rained all but one day, it was still sunny most of the day in general. Truly bizarre weather.

What's the rumor that they're expecting another three feet of rain for you guys before the end of the summer? At least down here in NYC the fireflies finally came out this week.

Well we were actually 3" short on rainfall despite all the clouds, but I think the last couple thunderstorms made up for that. But 3' more? Well, ok by me just so long as the cloudcover is short lived.

I'm partial to November also, but I can't compare this to November's crisp clear skies, only temperature-wise.

Sounds like our weather. It has been unusual and unwelcome for the most part.

Sounds like the entire northeast is consumed in it then.

Sounds like the good old "brolly" will become a necessary fashion accessory over there like it is in London. Our weather, always changeable at best, of course, seems to have swung from one extreme to the other this year, confusing the plants and wildlife ... my dear little magnolia tree is already in blossom for the second time ... looks pretty, but kind of odd to us with flowers and leaves on it at the same time!

I wonder about those stories. I went to England once in May and there wasn't a cloud in the sky all week.

Pretend like you're in the Pacific NorthWet (sorry, no sympathy from us NW-erners).

Yes, I hear that because of the damp, your earthworms get to be 6' long. You know, I was in Oregon a couple years ago, and even though I didn't have the opportunity to look for giant earthworms, funny thing was it didn't rain all week. Same thing happened when I went to England during their spring, no rain or clouds.
