Icesave compensation set to begin

Looks like I'll have my savings back in another month or so. I'm guessing the government is keen for savers to get their money back in time for Christmas? I also suspect that voters in the upcoming Glenrothes by-election will have a more pro-Labour disposition when they've just sent

Seems it did. Timing couldn't have been better for Labour - Glenrothes by-election was held on 6th November, and the FSCS sent out their e-mail stating the full details of the compensation on the evening of 4th Nov. Very fortunate, and entirely coincidental of course...
