(Answer should be for your sister and her husband) If she answers correctly then say "All this bullshit you are pulling is hurting her and going to make her day worse. But aside your feelings for her. Can you do that for once?" (make an example of yourself and your wedding day. I'm guessing your mom brought the drama that time also.)

What a terribly selfish and immature way to be--wraith_mistress is right; this is your SISTER'S day, not your mom's! Hopefully she'll see that before she makes a bigger spectacle of herself.

I think you did fine, even if it rips you to pieces inside. Offering compassion in a world that is seemingly starved for it, is rarely the wrong way to go.

On the flip side they're all so very lucky to have someone as kind and loving as you in their lives. Even if they don't see that.
