I finished this large commission Diptych a while ago, and didn't post about it because I thought I had sent it off to it's new home without taking any photos...but then I found this one in my camera while downloading pics of another new piece.

Thank You! The customer was really pleased, and I like it enough that I think I'm going to do another (slightly different) version of it to do prints off of.

No, no! Just probably more foliage and flowers. I had a rough time doing this in winter, as I make a lot of my leaves by encasing real leaves in silk fiber. In this case, I just cut most of them out of plain silk, along with the few pressed leaves I still had left from summer. Also, now that I've learned how to do the birch-bark trees, I would like more of them!
