The Kindle "cake"

I love the analogy. That's also been my experience trying to format any e-books. You try a bunch of settings, see how it turns out, then go back and try something slightly different and test it out. Over and over again!

I'm sure it will look and taste great in the end! :)

I think I must be weird, because I really like formatting e-books. :)

Mind you, I enjoy building websites, and e-books are essentially mini-websites with a lot of limitations.

I'm sure experience helps. It was just a bit of a disappointment to think that I'd followed all the instructions and still ended up with a number of problems to fix. Plus, Amazon's documentation is a bit on the sparse side. :-p
