After The Test

I wrote this little piece directly after episode 1 x 11 of Merlin. That uncovered space of time between when we see Merlin smiling down at unconscious Arthur and Merlin and Arthur riding into Camelot was just too good to resist. This is also my very first fanfic ever, so be gentle with me. Please?

Wow, I can almost see this as a scene. I actually prefer this to the random jump forward that actually was in the episode.

Yeah, I thought the random jump provided a perfect space for everyone to insert what they imagine/wish could happen.

It really actually is my first fanfic. I'm so glad you like it. I was really nervous about posting it because I don't have a lot of confidence in myself as a writer. Thanks for reading it. :-)

Aw, cute little tag to the episode. Particularly liked the banter at the end, since it just seemed so utterly them. Not to mention Arthur being bemused at a spot of forehead-kissing (which made me squee).

Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it. I thought about having Merlin kiss him full on the lips, but I think at this point, that Merlin/Arthur's relationship is very preslash. Maybe next I'll tackle something more direct. :-)
