Sounds like you're really in the dumps. The sad thing about school at this level, I've found, is that they honestly don't expect you to think, they expect you to regurgitate. To give out all those nice facts for the Exams, that's what they care about. Sad but true. BTW, don't worry about Frankenstein, I did it for A level and it's great. Excellent even, one of my fave books in fact. It's a damn good story, I think you'll like it. (The first few chapters are boring as hell, but when you get into the action and the emotion it's pretty good.)
