that sermon by Obadiah Slope,
it is ssooo Severus Snape avant la lettre
it's a pitty JKR did not write more lines for Snape intrucing himself and Potions, they would become the cornerstone of the whole movie coming from Alan's mouth.

I think every movie should have had more Snape! I keep fantasizing that David Yates will go back and film a few more scenes for the Complete Blue Ray!

Yates does need to go back and add a few more Snape scenes, he just should start a new cycle telling the story entirely from Snapes point of vieuw and some actors may figurate in it... not too much of course, we should not loose perspective that it's all about Snape.

We literally just watched The Barchester Chronicles -- Alan is absolutely priceless as Obediah Slope!

The series is really worth a watch if you can get your hands on it: apart from having a slightly creepy but young and entirely droolworthy Alan Rickman, it's full of delicious snark and manipulative wit. Nigel Hawthorne -- who plays Sir Humphrey in Yes, Minister! -- is really rather fabulous too.

I LOVE the fact that a website has taken the time to summarize Alan Rickman's whole career! All those clips in ONE place! What a resource for all those moments when someone says, "Alan Rickman who... oh that Snape guy?" What a beauty!

And I love that picture in the boathouse. It IS beautiful. Um, should I read any symbolism in the sunken ship boat that is sadly, still tied to the dock?

I didn't notice the sunken boat! Good eye, bnmc!

And it really is wonderful that AR's entire career is out there for everyone to see. Snape is just his most recent brilliant performance. :)

Gasp!! They used my comment in the article!!!

"As Sadira writes, “Each movie I’ve seen him in he’s just gotten better and better - he’s the handsome bad boy you just know you could fix, he’s the sensitive guy who’s overlooked, he’s the under-appreciated fellow you suddenly realize has been there all along, he’s the one you let get away. His voice, his face, his incredibly expressive eyes, his dancer’s carriage, all work together to make a completely original, delicious, delightful package named Alan Rickman.” "

Right after the "Hans Gruber is not a villain" clip!! OMG... can you imagine, if Alan read this, and saw what I wrote....

Well. I'm just a big pile of fangirl right now.

Sorry to change the subject, but I have one small question about Pottermore for those of you on the site. Can you just fast forward book one and read all the new information posted by JKR or is this information available only in time released increments? When will any new information about the final chapters become available? Thanks
