This is great news! UniversHarryPotter a French Website confirms the casting of a cute kid named "Rohan Gotobed" to play young Sirius Black from the Hogwarts Express scene in Prince's Tale. He really looks like a young Gary Oldman, too. It's exciting because this means we should be getting young James, Lily, and best of all, young Severus, in the ( Read more... )

this good news
and bad news togeher.

when they are casting such a young kid as young Sirius - and one that really looks the lot after the Oldman image of Sirius - the Severus part will be by a like wise young kid
and that rules out Alec Hopkin
I really hoped to see him back in that role.

Um, they'd have to cast young children for this part. They're supposed to be 11. It doesn't rule out using Alec Hopkins for, say, the scene on the hilltop (when Severus would probably be not quite 21). I don't know if they could use him for the younger teen parts, around 5th year. THat's what he was before, of course, but he might be too old now (not that that's stopped the producers on any other character!).

Shyfoxling is right that these have to be young children because they are eleven. I was rather hopeful when I saw this kid because his hair looks just like the teenage Sirius they used for the previous shots of Snape's Worst Memory.

Yes, Please - or to quote Yul Brynner in The Ten Commandments:

"So let it be written, So let it be done."

Pharoah has spoken, LOL. That is just screaming for an icon, isn't it? ;)

Look at those pretty curls. Well I'm glad they are keeping all the good parts in this last movie.

I know - he has beautiful hair! I'm really happy they are keeping at least some of the memory scenes from Prince's Tale. They surely have time with two movies for DH.
