Summary: Steve decides to drop in on Danny one Saturday morning only to find his partner more than a little under the weather. Perfect, just perfect! Steve going from clueless to care giver was so well written ... funny and angsty and wonderful. Would love to read a companion piece where Danny comes to work Monday, and Steve wants to find out more about the pigeons. And I'm just wondering why you picked pigeons for Danny's ramblings in the first place... was it so Steve could say that great line about mating for life (awwww) or do you have a bit of a bird phobia yourself? I hate chickens by the way ... LOL!

The pigeons were just a random choice. I wanted to use the sentence "They're flocking," and then I tried to think of a bird that Danny would find especially objectionable. I figured that pigeons would be a pretty good candidate for that. :)
