Turns out I can't transfer my photo ops unless I don't go to the convention at all for JiB Con. I asked the staff to be sure, and got capslocked at for my pains. Seriously, who does that in official correspondence? I was courteous in my inquiry, and got a response that was bordering on rude, though I suppose some of that can be attributed to lack

Is there are rule that you have to be the one in the picture? Maybe someone could still buy them off you and you can work it out that way?

No, my name is on the pass-thingie. It's not a huge deal, I was just hoping to free up the cash so I wouldn't have to sell a kidney in order to go to Rome. ;)

I'm more annoyed by the rudeness of the correspondence and am trying to remind myself that this is probably a not-their-first-language issue. The capslock was unnecessary, though.

Indeed, you'd think by now it would be commonly known that capslock is the equivalent of shouting on the internet...and shouting is rude in any language.

Capslocking is pretty much universally known as textually 'shouting' so that was pretty rude of them :S
