Hobbit Fic: The Search for Mad Baggins

Well I was randomly inspired by this prompt: http://hobbit-kink.livejournal.com/2235.html?thread=2413243#t2413243 on the hobbit meme and 10,000+ words later I finished my first ever real fill and long fanfic. So here it is:

Glad you enjoyed it- I have a head-canon epilogue for this story where they become holy terrors together, pranking everyone in sight.

I really liked this fic, even the thorin/bilbo (which is generally a bit of a deterrent, since I don't really see it myself - but I figured it was minor and the subject was quite interesting).

Pippin and Kili + the guards grow soft ? I'd love to read that.

Glad you could still enjoy the story, even with the thorin/bilbo. That was was part of the original prompt so I had to put it in there, I'm fine with it myself though I actually prefer other ships.

And maybe some day I'll write out the epilogue about how much trouble those 2 get in.

That's a real interesting take. So plausibly pulled off. And I find it endearing that Frodo went on a quest searching for family and home.

Happy to hear that, plausible is what I aim for, really, even in my crack fics.

This is the first hobbit fic I ever wrote so I'll always have a soft spot for it but I'm glad that other people are enjoying it as well.
