"Everybody knows it hurts to grow up."

So should I kick and twist and scream, / or could I just lay back and dream and think of summer? / Oh, there'd be no one else around / just you and I and the sound of us breathing together. / Stuck in this crumbling little town / we'd be happy just to lie down there forever.

Do you have any idea how long this post takes on dial-up? Nearly half an hour. I could chisel it into rock faster than this.

I'm going to have a bunch of new pictures soon. We'll have to spend a day going through them. Possibly while you're here in Chambersburg....

I see you've listened to the mix CD and found it quotable...if not "good." I hope you like it. It's more..."me" than the other mix CDs I've made. It's just songs that I like...rather than songs that I might not like but fit a particular "mood."

You're watching a movie with Zack right now, but we'll talk on IM at a later date...and phone calls through the evenings. It'll be like we're in the same building again.

I miss you...but not quite as much as I love you.

Dobler.

I really thought that my comment was going to be the first one.

Argh! I've been thwarted.

HaHA. I actually did think of your dial-up while posting the timeline. You're the one person I want to read this the most but who'll have the most difficulty. Someday you'll have your cable internet back, and you'll thank me for the memories.

As for the CD, I love it. In fact, it just might be my favorite (despite the lack of Flaming Lips. What's up with that?). You should make more mixes that are just "you." And it definitely has a mood; it makes me this kind of happy-sad. I've pretty much teared up at least once each time I've played it, but it also has this comforting tone.

I cannot wait to talk to you. I hope your day is going fairly well.

Love,
Rachel

Oh we'll still talk about your sex life. I figure that way there won't be any awkward silences.

It'll be such fun if you STOP MOVING FARTHER AWAY.

The earrings... I love the earrings.

And now I want to cry. So I'm going to.

I love the earrings, too.

Give me a second; it's about time for me to cry again.
