Gabrielle has found and raided the library, and can now be found sitting in the main room with a pile of books close at hand, reading. She seems fairly absorbed in her current book (one on French history, written after her own time -- she is searching for familiar names and the fates connected to them) but would, as always, welcome company.

Gareth, passing, offers a cheerful, "Good day, my lady!"

"Passably well, I suppose. And yourself?" She asks in the way of someone who actually wants to know -- human company is something she appreciates more and more.

Spade was returning the one or two books in the room that had actually been his to the library. He was over his hangover, for the most part, and looked put together once more.

He smiled at seeing her. "Checking up on the future, then?"

"Yes," she said, with a somewhat sheepish smile. "I'm afraid it's getting to be a bit of an obsession."

"Funny," he said, sitting down across from her. "The glimpse I got into our future cured me of a taste for it."

"Morbid curiosity, I suppose. Most of the books are not especially encouraging, but the need to know remains."

Zara, with professional irritation, has discovered that Gabrielle did not come for her dresses during the period of her own death, and now that she's alive again she sets to putting that right. With an armful of lush fabric she eyes Gabrielle. "'Lo."

Gabrielle looks up from her book, startled. "Oh--! Hello. I'm sorry, I never did stop by for those dresses, did I?" The Mansion has been proving quite distracting.
