Thoughts on the Hillenbohn-Sollit home

I'm having thoughts about the Hillenbohn-Sollit home. My brain defaulted to something framed in wood because I'm Human and live in a place and time where wood isn't a problem, but that isn't the case in Jon. You're looking at a limited, mostly imported wood supply, some rock, but most likely you're dealing in clay/adobe bricks.

How do they move things upstairs, and how do they keep house security?

I've been poking around the floorplan today and I think there's going to be some sort of dumb waiter/pulley system. The second story is just the bedrooms, the cellar has an external entrance as well.

Security comes in the form of being in the middle of a 160 acre spread around 5 miles from town and Teigan who is always around and can sense someone coming (if he's paying attention). Flat plains for miles and miles makes spotting anyone coming pretty easy, too.
