I got a haircut yesterday. First time since January, so I had about two inches of growth I wanted chopped off. But, as my hair wasn't quite three inches total, trying to convince a hairstylist to abide by my wishes was harder than it should have been

It's so true... I just love how you raise her and the lessons you've taught here. Everything from pronouncing things properly, the foods she eats... I hope I'm as good of a mom!

Honestly? I think she was just jealous. She saw in you the person she wishes she was, so she tried to get you to conform to her as a way of justifying her own decisions. It really shouldn't matter to a hairdresser what you choose to do with your hair. Your hair, your decision. They can give advice on what they think will suit your face, but ultimately, it's your call - you're the one living with it.

I think you totally rock short hair.
