fantastic things are fantastic

I watched the last six episodes of Supernatural today. I really liked the story, with the first blade and the mark of Cain and all. And Cas, being the unwilling leader of the angel army was very good, especially since (to me anyway) it was made clear from the way he let it all go that it was a task he undertook unwilling. I feel like he only did it ( Read more... )

Well I wasn't sure I wanted to see another x-men movie, but after that review, now I do!

That was also an apt review of Supernatural. Crowley always rocks my socks. He is supposed to be back as a series regular, so I'm sure we will see more of Dean and Crowley.

I am also pretty excited to get out of town. I worked 6 days in a row last week and this working thing is for the birds. Why do you people do it? ;-)

If you couldn't tell, I was really impressed with the movie. I'd say one of the best, if not the best, out of the franchise so far.

Good to hear Mark Sheppard will be back. Crowley is getting such layers, it's great.

It was great to see you guys. I had a really good time both Friday night and at the zoo. And I whole heatedly agree, this work thing is for crazy people.

I agree with you on XMen DOFP!! It was fantastic, wasn't it? I wish the Academy took superhero movies more seriously, because I feel like James McAvoy deserves an oscar nom for that performance! It was so much fun and also so heavy at the same time. I have been referring to this movie as The Epic Love Story of Charles & Erik. If you follow this from the first class movie, it's...meet, instant connection, working towards a common goal, terrible accident, breakup, forced together by outside circumstances, fight, healing, coming together at the end to save the world. And then they sex! Right ( ... )

*nods* DOFP is a perfect continuation of First Class. I love that TPtB didn't try to water down the intimate connection Charles and Eric (played by either set of actors) have in the movies. And of course they had all the sex for all the years they ended up together from Wolvie changing the time line.

Ahh! I had no idea about that story! I love that Hugh Jackman cares enough about the character to do something like that.

lol! isn't that just the perfect summary of fandom like ever! Also, I totally would ship Michael Rosenbaum/Misha Collins. they absolutely make sense together!
