it's been a long week

I finally feel closer to human at least. It only took most of the week and we've barely started today so we'll see how it all goes. I got caught in one of those; don't feel well, don't sleep well, feel worse, rinse, repeat, cycles. I still haven't sleep well, but I slept poorly for longer than usual and that's a good thing ( Read more... )

I will have every book with Green Arrow in the title.

Dude, that is dedication! Did you get anything good at the con?

I had a friend years back who had the whole Star Trek original series on DVD and also a whole set that he bought and left in the package for future re-sale.

I am really glad Breaking In is back on the air but I wish they hadn't made them mess with the formula. The show they had last year was perfect and now they kind of ruined the dynamics a little. Still, Christian is hysterical and hot and Cash and Cam are the cutest boys ever and Mel is totally smoking hot (though possibly gone from the show? - that would suck). I can't believe I wish Megan Mullaly weren't on the show - I have always been a fan of hers, it just feels forced to me. Does it to you or am I being overly picky here?

I didn't find any Green Arrow stuff I wanted at the Con, but then again I had an entire day of 'oh, shiney!' lol I'll find the stuff eventually I know. There's always ebay if I get desperate. :)

I'm liking everything about Breaking In so far except Megan Mullaly's character. Is she there for us to hate or what? Otherwise, the story arcs have been pretty ok I think. I do wish they'd go back to the job based episodes, but I do like that we get all these other people in the office now.

Perhaps the changes are because Megan Mullalay is on the show now. I don't know who she is, but from her screen time I'd say she's a draw acter (you know, a reason people tune it) and therefore it needs to revolve around her more. Idk, I'll keep watching tho till they piss me off. lol

Megan Mullaly was On "Will and Grace" if you remember that sitcom from the 90s. She was neither Will nor Grace though - she played Grace's boss and she acted very similar to this character on Breaking In. I didn't actually care for the characters of Will and Grace that much, I liked the side characters - I kept watching for Sean Hayes and Megan Mullaly. Then for awhile she had a talk show that was hysterical. She also does a lot of theater work (I guess she can sing ( ... )

they should have gone with a straight-laced, upright, serious, business type man to counter-balance Oz's zaniness huh, yeah, I didn't think of that. That is the standard formula for this kind of show isn't it? Maybe that's why they didn't do that? Their trying something new perhaps? Idk, but Megan's character is annoying. Tho I really like the British girl character, she's a good fit. Come to think of it, maybe she's the one fulfilling the straight-laced role?
