Oh thank the little gods, it's monday again

Holy crap was it a packed full weekend. I might be the only person who's happy to start the work week. At least it means a predictable schedule with set down time. I swear it was pillar to post since friday. Let's see, it was a double shift friday, a short shift saturday followed by grocery shopping and house cleaning and a shift on sunday. Yep, it ( Read more... )

I almost bought a Kane tshirt last week. Ever since the Mysterious Illness, anytime I get over-heated, I start feeling sick. So my usual winter shirts have not gotten their play this winter and all my tees are becoming overly well-worn. I refrained from spending money though I really liked the Raising Kane tee.

How is the Carlson cd? Is it all live acoustic stuff? (I am getting that idea from the album title).

My household seriously needs to invest in all the seasons of Southland. I can't wait for my sister to come home so we can watch this week's episode!

I have never seen Cats either and I call myself a theatre lover. Bad, Dodger! I was never sure what the plot was but I knew the big thing was just the costumes and how they actually behave so much like felines.

I would seriously give anything to see a full-on sex scene between Boyd and Ava. When they started unbuttoning their shirts to show off their scars, it was like porn. I made a noise. lol

I look at the Kane shirts often, but none of them really do it for me. *sigh* I really like band t-shirts too.

The Plugged Into London cd is really very good. It's not acoustic so much as not as produced and layered as his albums. It's very good. His voice is something else when he lets go and belts it out.

Southland seasons are slowly coming out. I've seen em for $15. I may never get the time to re-watch, but at least I've got the option now! lol

I'm pretty sure there is no plot for Cats. Turns out it's a series of TS Eliot poems set to music with a bit extra thrown in. The costumes and dances are divine tho that's for sure.

I squeaked a little at that scene between Boyd and Ava too! They are damn sexy. I'm still waiting for Raylan to figure out that he's happier with Boyd and Ava and for them to rule Harlan and the surrounding area between bouts of scorching hot sex.

The thing with the Kane shirts is I like the cut and fit of the ladies shirts but not the design...and I liked the design of the Raising Kane tee but I know it won't fit right because it a man's shirt. Boo. I currently don't have any actual rock tees - I have a lot that are that style but not any for actual bands. I wore through all my punk shirts and the last rock tee I bought was at a Barenaked Ladies concert I took my sister to for her birthday about 6 years ago and it shrunk down when I washed it so that it was too tight in the neck (which I cannot stand). What I really need is a new Fishbone tshirt because I loved the one I had and it got ruined but I'll never find one just like it. My brother went to like 30 shops in The Village before he found this one.

His voice is something else when he lets go and belts it out.

You sold me. /adds to To Buy list/

Southland is the kind of thing you can put on some day when you are being lazy (or when you are doing productive around-the-house things) and just let it run the episodes.

I really dislike the cut of the arms on ladies ts. Cap sleeves annoy me, it's like commit already, have sleeves or don't just don't cut into my armpit. *shrugs* I wear primarily mens clothing anyway. I don't recall the last time I actually shopped a womens department.

You sold me. /adds to To Buy list/ *grins sly* keep your eye on the post.

I have a hard time just letting the tv run in the background no matter what I put on. I end up getting sucked in and neglecting whatever it was supposed to be a soundtrack to.
