Work today was long and busy, what with the Sunday rush, but the customers were fairly pleasant, with a few outstandingly nice folks here and there. It's amazing how much a simple gesture, or a few kind words, can completely change a person's day ( Read more... )

Indeed! It's good to know that there are still people willing to go out of their way for complete strangers. I hope I can be as nice as her someday.

I work as a ticket-tearer/popcorn-jockey at the local cinema. The summer's been awesome so far, especially since my getting hired, but especially since my vacation last week, when I went to visit Kee and some other folks. ^ ^

1) I saw you at work when we went to see Walle... and Hancock... back to back *eyes fall out*

2) My dad asked a neighbor to borrow his ride-on lawnmower to mow the yard where our house was, and he consented. When we drove down there, we found all of it mowed already. My dad texted the neighbor saying, "Thanks alot... is there anything we can do in return? We're not used to everyone being so nice." His reply text: "Pass it on."
