Do you really think your vote only counts if your candidate wins?

No, but I don't think it counts when I walk into a polling place knowing full well that my state's electoral votes are not going where I would like them to go.

I wasn't talking about my candidate winning though (although I did like that too). I was talking about being in a close race such that my vote was not drowned out by an overwhelming majority on the other side.
