Okay, this episode is bad. Really bad. So, to distract me from the bad that is about to come parading our way, we have something Super Mega Awesome to share! It's the Power Rangers Holiday Fic Exchange! It's going to be so much fun, and I highly encourage everybody to take part! You write a power rangers fic, you get a power rangers fic. ( Read more... )

season 3: fish planet, goldar, science doesn't work like that, power loss, 4.5 fish, turned into children, rita on earth, ranger home, centered on: billy, tommy is useless, billy's alien fetish, inappropriately young friends, secret identity fail

Billy telling Tommy that he's older and basically grounding him is definitely one of my favorite moments in the show. Ever. It is awesome and wonderful and oh, Billy. ♥ ♥ ♥

The people of Angel Grove, live in Angel Grove so they can't be that smart. Though houses must be cheap. Again what would they do without Billy?

But the insurance is awful.

Fall apart, probably!

MMAR is just overflowing with fish. I theorize that the Aquitian Rangers must have brought tons of fish over from Aquitar when they came to Earth, thus causing the fish population to explode.

What's weird is, unless my eyes deceive me, that's the same mayor they used before (last seen in Another Brick in the Wall, IIRC) and she hasn't de-aged at all! And to make things even more confusing, Mr. Wilton is in a later episode, also looking exactly the same!

And another thing. If the Rangers are going to school, and have their teenage memories, shouldn't they be way smarter than the other classmates?

It really does look like the same mayor.

Angel Grove's education system is strange? Or maybe they're smart enough not to stand out too much. Except for Billy.

The question is, how does turning him back to his age not change time? I'm not going to even try to think about it, time travel and alternate realities give me a headache. *hides*

But this is TV land! You can't have anybody look the same when everything goes back ten years. (Not that I'm condoning that horrible Ms. Appleby wig from last time or anything.)

Time travel, especially in this universe, definitely makes my head hurt if I start looking into things a little too much.

Oh man, the Ms. Appleby wig. That was... ahahaha.

Definitely headache inducing. I mean, most different time travel theories are? But this alternate reality one is worse than most.
