Hey, I actually did just watch this one about two weeks ago on YouTube. And it's one of the episodes I remember fairly clearly from the original airing back in 1801 ( ... )

BWHAHASLDJALSDJFALDSJkfad okay this whole comment had me literally laughing. If I wasn't in a recliner, I might have actually fallen out of my chair. *wipes away a tear*

And it's one of the episodes I remember fairly clearly from the original airing back in 1801.

I also remember it fro the original airing back in 1801. Good times, good times. I didn't buy it even then, as a wee lass of... um... old enough I oughtn't have been watching of my own accord (or twelve, take your pick).

The Tommy Effect must have overcome my sense of logic

Ah but this is Power Rangers! One cannot use logic when viewing Power Rangers. It tends to detract from the enjoyment. ;)

I love how the Green Ranger's Shield of Cheap Bling doesn't show up again until the show cops out and Tommy gets his powers back (albeit temporarily). I really want the wacky adventures of the 19th century Rangers now. You have no idea how badly.

I would totally buy the Tommy's inner strength thing, except the show always makes such a big deal of it when he does something awesome! But maybe they just haven't figured that out yet.

I think the first real Bulk and Skull character development we get is in season 2. They save the Rangers lives in When is a Ranger Not a Ranger, which happens right after the Stone Canyon trio show up.

They really need to make an instruction manual for these powers... I can't keep up with all these little nuances.
