According to the Seattle Times, there will be 334 stores selling pot in the state. I always remember sitting on a section of a column at the Acropolis in 1980 and looking down to see a label on it saying 334. Of all the column sections in the world, I had to sit on that one. It was enough to make me ponder the death of Socrates.

Yesterday ron_drummond and I were talking about Joanna Russ, and he told me the story of how he first heard of her and of the series of important connections that followed from that.
