This is seriously, the coolest pet I have ever had.  Leopard geckos FTW.  Sasha is just awesome.  I thought my class would be grossed out by feeding her live insects, but it's totally the best part of the day for them.  They gather around and shriek when the crickets are escaping (especially when they try to hide under the gecko trying to eat them ( Read more... )

I have a pet!!!  Actually, the classroom has a pet, but she's really kinda mine.  Ish.

She's currently in her cave, but she was hunting crickets a minute ago.  I love my little leopard gecko.

 The kids were strangely quiet today...a bunch of them didn't come to school and the secretary couldn't get their parents on the phone. I guess there's something going around. To celebrate the Ides of March, I threw out our very expired Caesar salad dressing.  The Ides were actually yesterday, but I figure I was just disposing of the body.  There's only so many hours in a day, after all.
