Yesterday as I was sitting in the bath, bawling my eyes out, I heard "It's the End of the World as We Know It" ...but I didn't feel fine. It was (somewhat) amusing, and VERY appropriate. I even began to laugh through my tears

I just wanted to tell you, that even though I don't know you all that well (we've never even met), I am so proud of you. You have been so strong through all of this! Your life is so different from mine. I can't even imagine. BUt you have handled everything so beautiful.

Never, ever forget to be thankful for those friends. True friends are hard to come by, and it sounds like you have only the truest.

New York sounds like a great option. If it's really something you want to do, you should go for it!
