Poor Kate! I knew you were sick but missed how bad it was getting. :(

You were eating vegetarian, weren't you? I did just want to warn you that sometimes as your body gets used to soy (and other beans) you might experience some digestive issues for a week or two. :/ Bad timing with what you have been through. I was pretty much fine with the switch but garboy had a few issues, nothing major. Hopefully you will not have to worry about it.

I love Silk brand unsweetened in my tea. :)

Actually I'm pretty much a vegetarian at this point, with pork and chicken as an option. I would love to kick meat out of me completely but I can't because it would just limit me way too much since there is a lot I can't eat.

So instead I do a heavy veggie diet with meat every now and again. Like I said, I really would like to be vegetarian full time but it just isn't doable with everything else in my world. I've been doing soy milk as a stand alone for awhile now and milk for coffee and tea. However do to it occurring to me that Mama Cows have their babies taken away from them so that we can have their milk… (gm_avie is kicking herself for pointing this out to me because Sunday was spent lamenting Mama Cows) I've given up Cow Juice and I'm on Soy Milk completely.

The reason I'm off dairy currently is because I'm on an uber bland diet (rice, apple sauce and clear broth) currently due to my GI issues of this weekend.

Oooooh, see, I must have missed that part. :)

Yeah, the poor cows. What happens to the babies is even worse, but I of course identify with the mamas. I would flip out if someone took any of my babies away.
