So I got a call from my GYN, who left a message that my polyp was benign. Cool, no biggie, as expected. Good thing I didn't bother to feel nervous about it. The only minorly frustrating bit was that she called while I was in a meeting, so I had to ignore the UNKNOWN call (had no idea who it was) and hope the person would leave a message ( Read more... )

Returned late last night from my trip to The SF Bay Area. Safe, sound, catless. :(

Got my sweet mira_kitty back this morning, finally sprung her from prison. Phew! We both feel so much better!!! =^..^=

Previously I mentioned my trip up to The SF Bay Area for this weekend. I've modified my plans a bit. Though I'm still feeling quite hermity and low-energy overall, I will be forcefully extracting myself from my hermitage this weekend. I'll be heading Up North to the SF Bay Area for a weekend trip. Day before last I thought I saw mira_kitty standing weirdly. Wasn't really sure, but I decided to be extra vigilant. So yesterday I saw her stepping extra lightly on her left back leg, and sitting down oddly and asymmetrically. So I set my clock extra early for this morning and called the vet. So yesterday afternoon it suddenly hit me that I needed to arrange for mira_kitty's care while I'll be gone four days to Las Vegas for TAM4 (the skeptics conference). I'm used to shorter weekends away, going by myself, so some autofeeders and a couple of visits by jusdisguy is usually fine for mira_kitty for such a weekend.
