There is a site called bricklink that's exclusively legos. You may want to check there.

Thank you for the info! I looked through the site, and what I found was primarily special-purpose Legos. I didn't really see the sort of Big General-Purpose Heap that I'm trying to sell. I found more of my sort of thing in the special eBay category: Home > All Categories > Toys & Hobbies > Building Toys > LEGO > Bulk Bricks, Lots . Though even there there's still lots of special-purpose stuff too.
