When it comes to religion and public policy (e.g. - faith-based initiatives supported by taxpayer dollars, and putting the Intelligent Design conjecture into public schools), I say we should never compromise with any religion.

Unfortunately, I suspect somebody will read my article and claim that I am intolerant. Which is far from the truth. I tolerate private expressions of religions, but strongly oppose allowing religious mythology to infect our civic discourse and public policies.
