At ESA, not only are we allowed to dress up for Halloween, we are actively encouraged to do so. I have a couple of ideas (a mad scientist or your classic black-dress-and-point-hat witch, but with props!), but I would also like suggestions, so! ( Take this quiz of mine, which apparently works for once! Shock! )

Man, I haven't been this excited for Halloween in at least three years. It will be awesome. \m/ >o< \m/

BOOYAH!

Damn, I need to figure out my costume. Though if I'm still at my current workplace, I'm sure I'll be dragged into our interdepartment themed costume contest again. (Dear Manager: Please, cut it the fuck out with the Disney movies. My costumes require weaponry, or I am totally not working overtime for you anymore. 4 REALZ.)

Whatever you choose, take pictures! :D

You need to be a badass ninja or something. Oooh, maybe TenTen from Naruto, she has loooots of weapons. :D

Even if I have to resort to an old-school develop-the-film camera!

It's always been my favourite holiday. Last year was the first year I didn't dress up. Ever. I had every intention of dressing up (I was going to be a very dark looking doll.), but I didn't get my costume done in time because I was sick. I'm still beating myself up over it.

I'm not sure what I'm going to be this year. I have three ideas so far. A geisha, Amanda Palmer from the Dresden Dolls (practically the same make-up!), or a pirate. ...Or I could be Magenta again.

Oooh, Gmail gave me a link to a costume boots website when you mentioned pirates. They don't seem to have much variety, though, which I guess makes sense for pirate boots...
