for some reason, i'm posting lots of things.

Left 4 Dead is a multiplayer, cooperative horror game for the PC. "horror" = zombies, or some analogue. dammit. i've avoided MMORPGs. i've not bought an X Box 360 to play "Dead Rising", but if this game is remotely affordable and doesn't require a wholesale upgrade of my computers, i will NEED to play

it's a quicktime video... so if you downloaded it locally to your machine, you'd need to install the Quicktime player or Quicktime Alternative [an open source hack of the QT codec].

not sure if VLC has a quicktime decoder built in... but it's a good option for most video.

the video is a bunch of guys playing the game and gushing about it. but it's got some great footage of gameplay, which is cool stuff.

Unfortunately, all I have right now is my work laptop and I'm strictly forbidden to install anything on it.
