Okay, well. On the plus side, I think I've finally... come to terms with the fact that I'm here, and this definitely, definitely isn't a hallucination. Definitely. Because I mean, denial is really hard to shake off, especially when you're an optimist and like to think that everything is fine ( Read more... )

[coming to stand next to her]

I love a good duck pond, don't you? Especially if it actually has ducks.

( she glances over, and totally grins. point one to the doctor - she needed the mood boost. ) It's great! They're all content and paddling, and... ducks. I love ducks.

( and she holds out the bag of bread, in case he'd like to throw some C: )

Yes, you need the ducks. Last time I saw a duck pond it was deeply lacking in ducks. And it can't really be a duck pond if it doesn't have any ducks.

No, no way. ( And her brow furrows as she thinks that over. ) Then it's just a pond, you know? And that's false advertising.

"What are those odd conveyances on your feet, Arizona?" [he watches with interest. He recently brought a puppy home for her to play with, as well as some chocolate cake. Garvi is taking his not-husbandly responsibilities as seriously as he takes everything. Which is very.]

Garvi! ( And she's just going to grab onto a counter top to stop herself. ) Rollerskates. ( She makes this sound extremely important.) They're awesome. Oh! Maybe we should get you some, and... ( uh, pausing because this sounds absurd ) and the... kids.

You know, for fake-family bonding time. ( :D Such a bright smile!)

"If you believe it important, I shall gladly do so."

[he looks down at them.]

"To be honest, while they appear to increase velocity, you also lose some control over the vectors of your movement. They must be very inefficient in battle."

[he looks speculative.]

It is! Super important.

( and she is nodding and grinning! yep, he is very correct ) In battle, probably. In surgery, definitely. Usually I prefer my wheely-sneaks, but I couldn't find any here.

Knitting's boring. Why don't you just go for a run or do some pushups instead?

Oh, I do run. But scarfs are cute, and I find cute things therapeutic, so I thought... knitting! There's nothing wrong with awesome homemade accessories.

( TOTALLY BEAMING. HELLO TINY ONE! )

Hi! Want to feed some ducks? ( holding out the bread, you know feeding ducks is awesome :DDDD )

( ooc; UGH I meant to set up a log for these two forever ago, but work ate my soul for a couple of weeks and... and then I was just embarrassed, lolol. Sorry for the delay! )

Yay! It's the best, right?

( And she will tear off some and throw it for them ) I mean, it must be pretty great. Swimming around, having food thrown to you. Not... that I would really want food thrown at me, but served while I was relaxing in a pool, yes!
