Why is it that I feel so irritated whenever Kaplan (the company that owns the college I graduated from) Career Services calls me going 'Hay, got a real job yet? :D?'

I've never been contacted by my university, nor high school, since gratuating.

I think they know I'd view any request for money as an invitation to investigate their financials and, possibly, find a newspaper story in it.

I've had various places failing to engage the corporate memory on various details of mine.

I usually end up walking the caller through updating my details on the phone and also creating a note on my file duplicating those new details and containing the date they originally changed. Then I get a corporate data reference number off them which I can give to the next person who calls up without reading my file.

Sometimes they even forget what they originally called me about. :)

Ugh, what. I didn't even get invited to my ten year high school reunion, I am hoping for similar luck from my university.
