What it should be like
I seriously love working at BJs. I know it's just been one day and a lot can go wrong, but I feel like this is how you're supposed to feel about going to work. Country living
Went for a walk outside today, when I happened across a napping fox. It was definitely young, as it was snoozing in the sun right in the middle of the back lawn. It did see me and when it got up I could see it was tiny but had a great coat and didn't act funny. Someone who I love gave me a 6lb bag of frozen strawberries and a 6lb bag of frozen peas for my birthday. Those are my two most favorite snacks of all time.
My tongue is now raw and numb from having a frozen dinner.
It was totally worth it <3 -
Interviews n' stuff
Job interview yesterday went pretty well. I'm being considered for an infant room teacher, and I really really want it! The center is absolutely fantastic, they are non profit but they have amazing resources, benefits like I've never seen offered to daycare workers (BJ's membership included!), and the way the program is structured is fantastic ( Read more... ) -
Holy wow...
Just saw a number on the scale that I literally haven't seen in years. I know it's only 8 pounds loss total... but HOLY CRAP!!!
Just hope I can keep the momentum going! :) -
Farley and Memes
Farley is doing much better. His tail was WAY shorter than the 6 inches that the vet said it would be, in fact it is probably going to be less than 4 after all the swelling has gone. Which looks really silly. Poor baby :( And I know this sounds weird... but they left his manly bit sack intact when they neutered him. Every male dog I've ever ( Read more... )
