Meanwhile Matei became so distraught by the fact that people were coming to our door and we ( Read more... )

Thank you! I found the red coat on sale and basically made me whole family justify it by dressing with the theme.

That's what I like to see: lead from the front!

I must call you this weekend - I noticed I had missed a call from you a couple of days ago and keep forgetting to call back, and I'm out for the next couple of days, I think.

Thank you! I was delighted to get away with not buying any costumes.

(My coat doesn't count, because I've been wearing it every day to justify the £30 I spent on it; It was marked down from £150 - the shop was practically embroidering my name on it).

This comment took the words right out of my mouth! CORRECT BLOG, rainsinger.

I love the fact that you are dealing with Matei's wolf phobia through costume. BECOME THE THING YOU FEAR!

Thank you for your incipient comment, yiskah! The wolf costume was a big hit for him I have to say. Next year I may dress myself as Unopened Mail.

Fantastic costumes (how did Matei feel about being dressed as something he is afraid of?) and a lovely coat. We don't do Halloween at the moment but I'm very pro small children in fancy dress so it may have to change!

Matei loved being the wolf! It was his idea and he really took to it. Although when I pretnded to be scared he reassured that he wasn't a real wolf really. Only Matei.
