Eye of the Tigger

Nov 22, 2010 01:08

For the last year Z and I have been on a concentrated campaign to make our son a better person  tired. And compliant. And sleepy. But mostly sleepy.

This is a chronicle of our increasingly desperate states of mindefforts.

Mostly though, I think we have just increased his fitness levels. So help us God.

Ohhhh..i love the running up Primrose hill in his little red hood, though I am reminded of 'Don't Look Now' a little!

Is it my laptop or even the perspective of the video looks so sleep-deprived. Has M's sleep got worse recently or has been always like this with new baby adding to the mix making it less tolerable?

Libra moon thing, eh? T has moon in 7th house which sounds like he'll never ever sleep alone for rest of his life! Anecdotally most of children 'that' kind (ie. too attached to parent to be able to sleep alone happily) do miraclously brush teeth themselves, put on PJs and sleep for 12hrs without you having to deal with them after 3+ years old or so. Rather than never ever hopefully :)

Charles was certainly a "never leave me alone" baby (from day 1, I knew this!); he has over time adapted to going to sleep by himself to a story. If he wakes in the night he comes and climbs into our bed, these days without even waking me.

That is one of the cutest videos I have ever seen. If I ever get across the pond, I want to come see you and the babies.

Silly question perhaps, but have you tried cutting down/out milk and wheat? My brother was constantly on the go when he was little, turns out he had a milk and wheat intolerance, and cutting those out helped tremendously. He was able to add them back in when he was about ten without issue. :)
